On April 18, 2008, the LSWO will be recognizing International Social Work Day with a full day summit focused on a Global/National, and Local Perspective on Human Trafficking. This summit is a partnership with many community assets who provide services to underrepresented populations. Participate in a Film Discussion at Schools of Social Work

Student Social Work Organizations are collaborating with the LSWO. BSW and MSW Student Organization will be scheduling film discussions focused on Human Trafficking. Rebecca Hofrichter and Jessica Johnson, Loyola Social Work Students, and Ingrid Mejia, University of Chicago SSA Student, and Kathleen Moriarty of Jane Addams College of Social Work, and, Fernando Rayas of Governors State University are working on hosting film/discussion events at their respective schools of social work.
